Ocean Beach Self Storage (OBSS) is unique in Cowlitz County for the wide variety of sizes and types of storage spaces available. You can find many enclosed units varying from 5 ft x 5 ft all the way up to 14 ft x 50 ft. More than half of these units are heated. There also are carports, enclosed on the sides to keep your property dry. Many of these have been raised to handle the new tall motor homes and trailers. And for those who just need to park a vehicle or trailer we have open parking of various sizes to handle anything. All of the property is covered in asphalt to minimize dust and mud. Distances between units are generous to allow easy access.
OBSS began as a small self-storage facility created by Margaret Herold, a longtime Longview businesswoman. The facility was expanded over the years by Margaret and her son Gary to become the 364-unit facility you see today. In 2009, Steve and Cindy Lervik and Butch and Jerri Henry purchased OBSS from Gary. At the time, Clayton Grasser is the new resident manager. Clayton continues in this role today, managing the day-to-day office operations of the facility. He is typically the first friendly face you’ll meet.
Our goal at OBSS is to provide a safe, secure place for our customers to store their properties. We want everybody’s experience to be a good one. We expect our prices to be very competitive and the quality of our storage units to be the best in town. Please come in and visit Clayton to see if we have what you need.
